Associate Frontend Software Developer
Summary
Build and maintain responsive web interfaces using React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and REST APIs; troubleshoot UI issues and collaborate with backend teams to deliver user-friendly web apps.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web application screens, frontend components, and existing system modules while improving user workflows, usability, performance, and overall user experience.
- Build responsive and reusable frontend components for desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms by converting UI/UX designs into functional and interactive web pages according to project standards.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services by consuming REST APIs, handling frontend data presentation, form validation, error handling, authentication, and session management requirements.
- Troubleshoot frontend issues, browser compatibility problems, layout defects, and support bug fixing activities during testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and post-deployment phases.
- Perform frontend functional testing and basic unit testing to ensure developed features meet functional specifications, UI requirements, and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with backend developers, QA teams, designers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve issues, support testing activities, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, implement feedback from senior developers, and adhere to coding standards, naming conventions, version control processes, and development best practices.
- Maintain technical documentation, update task progress in project tracking tools, and actively participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and project discussions.
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of frontend development experience; fresh graduates with strong internship or project experience are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js (or similar frontend frameworks), REST API integration, responsive web design, Git version control, and basic UI/UX principles.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, frontend libraries/frameworks such as Material UI, Ant Design, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS, and mobile-responsive development or React Native is preferred.
- Basic understanding of authentication mechanisms, Single Sign-On (SSO), Agile development methodologies, and cloud-hosted applications will be advantageous.
- Ability to perform frontend functional testing, troubleshoot issues, support bug fixing, and collaborate effectively with QA and backend teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, good communication and teamwork abilities, capability to work independently, and commitment to meeting assigned tasks and project timelines.
- Ability to follow coding standards, naming conventions, version control practices, and participate actively in Agile development activities such as sprint planning and project discussions.
