About the Role

You'll own features end to end — building responsive, component-driven interfaces in React.js and the Django APIs and data models that power them. You'll work with React.js, Django and Django REST Framework, PostgreSQL, AWS and the AI models embedded in our platform, turning requirements into working features, prototyping quickly and shipping changes safely to live systems. You'll build with AI tools at your side and check every output before it ships. Working alongside experienced technology leaders who have built world-class products in AI, Machine Learning and Virtual Reality, you'll contribute directly to the core product and gain deep insight into how products are built in a startup. This role is ideal for someone who thinks logically, writes clean code, takes ownership of their work, and is eager to learn fast.

What You'll Do

• Own features end to end — Build and ship features across the stack: React.js components, state management and API integration on the front end; Django models, REST APIs, business logic and background jobs on the back end.
• Build quick prototypes — Put together working versions fast to test ideas and show stakeholders early, then refine them into production-ready features.
• Write quality, performant code — Write clean, testable, maintainable code and reusable components. Care about page load times, API response times, and sensible database schemas and queries.
• Test and ship changes safely — Write tests and run every change through the checklists end to end before it goes live. Review your own work, get a teammate to check it, then deploy to live systems.
• Document your work — Keep clear notes, API documentation and change records so your work is easy to follow, maintain and hand over.
• Learn and adopt new technologies — Quickly learn and adopt the technologies, frameworks and best practices integral to our product development process.
• Collaborate and communicate — Participate actively in code reviews, brainstorming sessions, sprint and review meetings. Communicate progress and blockers early, seek guidance when needed, and take full ownership of your work.
• Use LLMs and AI tools effectively — Use AI coding assistants such as Claude, Cursor and Copilot to build, debug, review and test faster. Review and verify every AI-generated output for correctness, security and performance before it ships, handle code and data confidentially, and follow company guidelines on AI usage.
• End-to-End Solution Development — Involve in the end-to-end solution development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and problem analysis to solution design, development, testing, and deployment. Collaborate with product, solution, and client-facing teams to understand business needs, break down problem statements into clear, actionable, and verifiable steps, and propose practical solutions that align with platform capabilities and address the underlying problem.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a Graduate from Top 100 NIRF colleges — as per the NIRF 2025 Engineering Rankings.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field — or equivalent hands-on ability.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, with strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and operating systems.
• Working knowledge of React.js — components, hooks, props/state and consuming REST APIs — along with solid HTML and CSS fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Django (or a comparable backend framework) — models, views, ORM and building REST APIs.
• Understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and basic schema and query design.
• Comfort with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Comfortable using AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor or Copilot, and checking what they produce.
• State management and data-fetching libraries (Redux, Zustand, React Query) and TypeScript.
• Exposure to AWS, Docker, CI/CD or basic DevOps practices.
• Testing experience with pytest, Jest or React Testing Library.
