Orthopedic Care Partners is seeking an experienced, business-minded Associate General Counsel to join our growing physician practice platform. This is an exciting opportunity for a healthcare attorney who wants to work closely with executive leadership, physician leaders, and operational teams to support strategic growth, clinical operations, and continued organizational success across a large, multi-site practice environment.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted legal advisor on a broad range of healthcare, regulatory, contracting, employment, compliance, risk management, and transactional matters. You will help guide practical decision-making in a fast-paced environment while supporting initiatives that enable our physicians and care teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
What You’ll Do
- Provide practical legal advice to senior leaders, physicians, and business partners on healthcare operations, compliance, governance, employment, contracting, transactions, and risk management.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including physician employment agreements, vendor contracts, professional services agreements, managed care arrangements, leases, and healthcare-related contracts.
- Advise on healthcare regulatory matters, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, fraud and abuse, licensure, reimbursement, and other laws affecting physician practices.
- Support growth initiatives, including acquisitions, affiliations, new practice locations, physician recruitment, and service line expansion.
- Partner with compliance, human resources, finance, operations, and outside counsel to solve complex legal and business issues.
