Associate General Counsel - Regulatory and Employee Advisory
Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel specializing in Regulatory and Employee Advisory to join our dynamic legal team. This role will focus on providing expert legal guidance related to regulatory compliance and employment matters, ensuring that the company operates within the framework of applicable laws and best practices in human resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal advice on labor laws, employment regulations, and regulatory requirements affecting the company’s operations.
- Draft, review, and advise on employment contracts, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international labor laws.
- Support management in resolving complex employee relations issues, disputes, and disciplinary matters.
- Stay abreast of legal developments in labor and employment law and assess their impact on the company.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure legal risks are managed effectively across employee lifecycle processes.
- Represent the company in regulatory matters related to employment and liaise with governmental authorities as required.
- Conduct training and workshops for management and employees to raise awareness on regulatory compliance and employment best practices.
- Mentor junior legal staff and promote a culture of legal excellence within the team.
Requirements
- Legal qualification with admission to practice law.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience specializing in regulatory and employment law, preferably in a corporate or in-house legal environment.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and regulatory compliance in relevant jurisdictions.
- Proven ability to manage complex employee relations and regulatory compliance issues.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills in employment and regulatory matters.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including mentoring and guiding junior legal team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment handling multiple priorities.
