About the role

The Associate Manager, Curation (LATAM) is responsible for the day-to-day execution and optimization of regional curation strategies across key screens, collections, homepage features, promotional placements, and discovery surfaces. Operating within global frameworks, you will translate strategy into high-impact LATAM execution while balancing strong editorial judgment with disciplined use of performance data.

You will partner closely with GTM, Programming, Product, Marketing, Analytics, business, technical, and regional stakeholders to support major launches, seasonal moments, editorial tests, flywheel initiatives, and growth campaigns. Success requires strong operational ownership, analytical fluency, effective cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to maintain quality at scale.

This role emphasizes regional ownership, measurable optimization, stakeholder collaboration, and day-to-day quality oversight of LATAM curation execution.

Core Areas of Responsibility

Curation Strategy and Execution

  • Contribute, execute, and continuously refine LATAM curation strategies aligned with global direction, business goals, audience trends, and regional performance targets.
  • Optimize key screens, content collections, homepage features, themed shelves, promotional placements, and discovery surfaces using data-driven insights and editorial expertise.
  • Support the development and execution of structured curation plans for major content launches, tentpole moments, seasonal campaigns, and marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain high visual, editorial, and curation standards across regional surfaces, ensuring experiences are premium, polished, and culturally relevant.
  • Translate LATAM consumption patterns, user behavior, and content performance into actionable curation updates.
  • Partner with Analytics to monitor and evaluate content performance, identify trends, assess risks, and implement measurable optimization opportunities.
  • Translate performance data and user insights into day-to-day editorial decisions, themed collections, and promotional content.
  • Execute and contribute to editorial tests, A/B testing, seasonal experiments, and tool-driven experimentation to improve content discovery and engagement.
  • Communicate performance insights, optimization actions, and strategic recommendations clearly to cross-functional partners and stakeholders.

Campaigns, VOD, and Flywheel Initiatives

  • Partner with GTM, Programming, Product, Marketing, Analytics, business, technical, and regional stakeholders to support content discovery initiatives and editorial strategy.
  • Contribute to the LATAM execution for regional and global marketing campaigns focused on content discovery, engagement, and retention across VOD and flywheel businesses.
  • Contribute to regional execution of Flywheel initiatives, including Theatrical and Games, while supporting global alignment where relevant.
  • Coordinate content and curation projects connected to launches, campaigns, programming priorities, and business growth initiatives.

Operations, Tools, and Team Collaboration

    • Manage day-to-day editorial decisions and publishing workflows with strong attention to quality, timing, and business impact.
    • Use CMS and content publishing tools effectively, and provide practical feedback to improve editorial efficiency and workflow effectiveness.
    • Contribute to curation best practices, process improvements, documentation, and repeatable operating models.
    • Foster a connected, inclusive team environment that values collaboration, feedback, and diverse perspectives.
    • Provide day-to-day guidance and quality oversight to coordinators or junior team members, where applicable.

  • Editorial decisions consistently reflect both regional audience preferences and global merchandising standards
  • LATAM curation execution is consistently high-quality, timely, and clearly aligned with business priorities.
  • Engagement, discovery, and retention metrics show measurable improvement tied to curation initiatives and optimization work.
  • Major launches, tentpole moments, seasonal campaigns, and marketing priorities are supported by structured, effective curation strategies.
  • Regional user experiences are premium, polished, culturally relevant, and responsive to audience behavior.
  • Publishing workflows, CMS usage, and curation operations become more efficient, reliable, and scalable over time.
  • The role demonstrates readiness for increased strategic ownership and broader regional impact within LATAM.

About You

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in content curation, merchandising, editorial programming, or a related role within streaming, digital media, video services, media, or entertainment.
  • Proven ability to translate performance data, audience behavior, and user insights into actionable content decisions and measurable optimizations.
  • Strong editorial judgment and understanding of content discovery, programming, and curation principles.
  • Experience supporting or leading high-visibility launches, tentpole campaigns, seasonal moments, or major programming initiatives.
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, cross-functional environments with marketing, product, analytics, business, technical, or regional partners.
  • Hands-on experience with CMS tools, content management systems, publishing workflows, and operational processes.
  • Strong operational ownership, analytical fluency, effective cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing competing high-priority demands in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in global streaming markets or with regionally nuanced content curation.
  • Professional proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms, project management tools, experimentation frameworks, and personalization strategies.
  • Passion for anime, pop culture, and fan-first content experiences.
