- Administer and provide day-to-day operational support for Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB database environments.
- Perform database health checks, maintenance, configuration, capacity management, and proactive issue identification.
- Perform database and SQL performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning to improve system stability and application performance.
- Provide timely and effective support during critical and emergency production incidents.
- Support database installation, configuration, upgradation, patching, migration and lifecycle management.
- Manage database security, user access, privileges, auditing, and compliance requirements in accordance with organizational policies and security standards.
- Collaborate closely with application, infrastructure, network, security, and other technology teams to resolve technical issues, optimize database workloads, and ensure service availability.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve database monitoring, administration, backup validation, reporting, health checks, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks, configuration records, and database operational procedures.
- Participate in technology evaluation, Proof of Concept (PoC), and adoption of new database, cloud, automation, high-availability, and data platform technologies.
- Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, service orientation, and professionalism when supporting production services and business stakeholders, particularly during critical and time-sensitive situations.
