Associate Manager, Marketing
Job Overview:
Responsible for providing general assistance to the Product Manager with the tactical execution of corporate and marketing plans, strategies, and projects. The role will assist in the improvement of an existing products marketing campaigns or developing new products fit for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and execute on key strategies to develop and commercialize new product lines.
Help in identifying the target audience of a product and check the efficiency of the implemented product development and marketing strategies
Creation of product specifications for new products and providing an analysis of sales and category reports
Participation in new product sensory tastings and part of the plant trial team and first production runs where require.
Management and analysis of new products costing
Development of marketing materials for internal & external reference e.g. brochures, sell sheets, product photography, launch presentations, product manuals
Creation and review of packaging, label design/copy and artworks
Support key tasks involved in the management of product lines. Support marketing, sales and production; around key decisions, and ensuring that the quality and strengths of the product are not compromised
Maintenance of existing product lines
Support review and rationalization of product lines
US and Canadian ECC NET Maintenance for specified customers (1WS and GS1)
Manages customer specific portals
Conducts purchase order submissions and record keeping
Creation and analysis of sales and category reports and assist in the updating of internal project status reports
The Recipe for Success:
Completion of a college diploma in Marketing, Business, or a related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Product Marketing role
Requires experience creating marketing and selling materials (brochures, sell sheets, website and social media content, presentations)
Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and problem solve
Solid understanding of urgency in responding to internal (other departments) and external (suppliers, agencies, customers) partners
Strong interpersonal skills with clear communications (verbal and written)
Excellent organizational skills in order to meet tight deadlines
A self-starter with the ability to identify projects, solutions
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
