Associate Manager, Security Engineering

Assoc. Manager, Security Engineering

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana, India; Hybrid

Key Responsibilities
•Monitor, analyze, and interpret global threat intelligence to identify risks relevant to the organization
• Leverage Recorded Future or similar threat intelligence platforms to gather, enrich, and correlate threat data
• Contextualize threat intelligence based on business environment, assets, and risk posture
• Produce actionable intelligence reports, advisories, and alerts tailored to internal stakeholders
• Translate intelligence findings into prioritized, actionable tasks and drive ticket creation in
• Collaborate with SOC, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, and other security teams to ensure effective response and mitigation
• Develop and maintain intelligence requirements aligned with business objectives
• Track threat actors, campaigns, TTPs, and emerging vulnerabilities relevant to the organization
• Provide strategic and tactical intelligence briefings to leadership and technical teams
• Continuously improve intelligence processes, workflows, and integration with security operations

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field. • 8–10 years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence or related cybersecurity domains
• Hands-on experience with Recorded Future (preferred) or other leading threat intelligence platforms
• Strong understanding of threat actors, attack frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK), and threat lifecycle
• Proven ability to convert intelligence into actionable insights and operational outcomes
• Experience integrating threat intelligence into SOC or security operations workflows
• Familiarity with or similar ticketing systems for driving remediation actions
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical intelligence into business impact

Preferred Requirements
• Experience in building or maturing in-house threat intelligence programs
• Knowledge of scripting or automation (Python, APIs) for intelligence enrichment
• Certifications such as GCTI, CTIA, CISSP, or equivalent
• Experience working in large enterprise environments

Assoc. Manager - Security Engineering- (Threat Intelligence) is an L8 individual contributor role responsible for delivering timely, relevant, and actionable cyber threat intelligence for Yum! Cybersecurity. This role monitors external and internal intelligence sources, contextualizes threats against Yum!’s business environment, and converts validated intelligence into reports, advisories, and -driven remediation actions. The role works independently on defined priorities and recurring threat intelligence activities, while escalating highly ambiguous, executive-impacting, or precedent-setting issues to Security Operations leadership or more senior technical resources.
