What We Need:
2K is looking for an Associate Marketing Manager based in Korea for our flagship PC & Console Titles. The role will include work from across our core and FTP portfolio, with projects allocated based on launch cycles and team capacity.
The ideal candidate has a strategic approach and a proven ability to implement marketing campaigns. A passion for video games, and a strong experience in the Korean market is necessary to be successful in this role.
As an Associate Marketing Manager, you will be in charge of meeting sales and business objectives through rolling out effective GTM and consumer marketing initiatives through the development and execution of comprehensive strategies and campaigns to drive market share and revenue growth across Korea for assigned titles.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Marketing
- Engage and build relationships with our players across numerous local community platforms in Korea.
- Identify & explore potential long term partnership opportunities with community leaders.
- Develop annual community strategy via working with 2K title leads and execute community activations to meet expected key performance indicators.
- Use data-driven insights to refine community strategies and improve engagement.
- Monitor and manage community sentiment and provide real-time feedback to internal teams and global teams as well as deliver the right messages to the community.
- Coordinate community leader engagement in global or regional marketing activations.
Campaign Management
- Collaborate with respective internal cross-functional teams to align regional launch campaigns in accordance with global campaign strategies.
- Contribute creative tactics and promotional ideas to maximize the impact of campaign launches in Korea
- Brief agencies and help develop paid and organic planning including media, local partnerships, and events.
- Collaborate with PR and Influencer agencies and teams to pull a comprehensive campaign together for sustain and launch.
- Campaign performance reporting throughout campaigns.
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the video games, entertainment or tech industry. Game industry experience is a strong bonus.
- Strong marketing, PR, and social media vendor management experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conceptual thinking skills.
- Strong understanding of Korean customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- A good understanding of game publishing models and a strong understanding of PC/Console gaming ecosystems and communities
- Experience with player-first marketing and building social media and community engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English.
