ABOUT SHARKNINJA

Our mission to positively impact people's lives every day in every home around the world allows our employees to be thinkers and tinkerers, designers and doers, creators and number crunchers, makers of things they love.

SharkNinja APAC is expanding and scaling rapidly. Our two brands, Shark and Ninja, have enjoyed unprecedented growth over the past five years, driven by a very strong innovation pipeline across both brands. Building on that success, SharkNinja APAC has embarked on a bold plan for growth in which Singapore and Malaysia play a critical role. We have taken these markets back from our distributors so that we can run them directly and drive strong growth behind innovation and investment.

Shark and Ninja have exceptional product pipelines and consumers who have not yet been given a strong enough reason to care. This role is where campaigns actually get built and launched — and where our next brand leaders are grown.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate Marketing Manager runs Shark or Ninja marketing activity in Singapore day to day, depending on the category they own: campaign planning and delivery, NPD launch execution, content production, creator and PR activity, and the reporting that tells us whether it worked.

Shark competes in home care, floor care and beauty, and Ninja in kitchen, cooking and food preparation. In both, the product genuinely does something better and the job of marketing is to make people see it. Content, demonstration and credible third-party proof matter more here than message repetition.

This is a hands-on role in a small team. You will write the brief, build the content, brief the creators, manage the agency, check the assets and pull the results together. The plan and the execution both sit with you.

You will also own a defined category or sub-category of Shark or Ninja in Singapore — its plan, its numbers and its results. You work alongside the Marketing Manager, who sets the brand direction, and you are expected to run your area, not simply support theirs.

It is also a development role. We are building the marketing organisation these markets will need, and we want people who will grow into brand ownership. Scope will expand as fast as you can carry it.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Own your category or sub-category

  • Own a defined category or sub-category of Shark or Ninja in Singapore end to end: set its plan, priorities and targets within the brand plan agreed with the Marketing Manager.

  • Be the go-to person for your category — its consumers, competitors, pricing, range and pipeline — and bring a point of view to the Marketing Manager rather than waiting for direction.

  • Manage the budget allocated to your category within the brand envelope, and recommend where to invest more or stop.

  • Answer for your category's results: demand, conversion and launch performance, reported honestly with learning applied.

  • Work as a partner to the Marketing Manager, who sets the brand direction, and not as their support resource.

2. Plan and deliver campaigns

  • Build and execute the Shark or Ninja campaign calendar for Singapore against commercial moments — launches, peak, category occasions and platform campaigns.

  • Write clear, insight-led briefs and hold agencies and partners to them.

  • Manage delivery end to end: assets, media, channels, timing and go-live, with nothing landing late or incomplete.

  • Own campaign budgets and track spend against plan.

3. Execute NPD launches

  • Deliver every Shark or Ninja launch in your area in Singapore: proposition and message, assets, media, PR, seeding, creators, and online and retail landing.

  • Run the launch checklist and chase every dependency — content, stock, pricing, listings, training — rather than assuming others will.

  • Secure early reviews and credible demonstration content before day one.

  • Report launch performance at 30 and 90 days with learning attached.

4. Build content and creator activity

  • Build content that shows what our products do, grounded in how people actually live, clean, cook and eat here — the small home, the hawker habit, the weekend cook, the health-conscious family.

  • Manage creator and influencer activity: selection, briefing, content review and performance measurement.

  • Work with the E-Commerce Designer and Social Commerce team so brand and commerce content reinforce each other.

5. Support commercial performance

  • Work closely with E-Commerce and Sales so campaigns land where the product can actually be bought, with content and availability ready.

  • Provide the shopper and in-store material the commercial teams need — claims, demonstration messages and reasons to choose.

  • Track what converts and bring that back into the next campaign.

  • Bring a point of view to the trading rhythm rather than a report.

6. Measure and improve

  • Build campaign and content reporting that is honest about what worked and what did not.

  • Test deliberately rather than repeating what was done last year.

  • Track competitor activity and flag anything that needs a response.

  • Recommend stopping things that are not delivering, including things you built.

EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES

Essential

  • 4+ years in consumer brand marketing, campaign delivery or product marketing in Singapore.

  • Evidence that you build and improve, not just deliver. A campaign, content approach, process or test you initiated yourself — and what changed as a result.

  • Hands-on execution capability across content, creators, media and assets. You do the work, not only manage it.

  • Genuine Singapore consumer understanding and curiosity about how people actually live and buy.

  • Strong project discipline — many moving parts, tight timelines, nothing dropped.

  • Commercial awareness: understands that marketing exists to create demand that converts.

  • Clear communication and the confidence to brief, challenge and chase.

  • Ability to run a defined category or sub-category: set its plan, own its numbers and make the case for investment, with the Marketing Manager as partner rather than director.

  • Appetite to grow into brand ownership.

Experience might get you the interview. Mindset is what sets you apart.
