Associate Mental Health Therapist - Per Diem

Position: Bilingual (Spanish/English) Mental Health Therapist (Associate or Independently Licensed)

HOURS: This is a grant funded position – Hours vary according to caseload (5-15 cases)

Christie’s Place was founded in 1996 with a mission to empower women, children, families, and individuals whose lives have been impacted by HIV/AIDS to take charge of their health and wellness.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

Under supervision of the Clinical Director, the Per-Diem Associate Mental Health Therapist will perform a full range of mental health counseling services for women, children and families living with HIV. Primary responsibilities include:

· Conducting biopsychosocial assessments, formulating care plans, and mental health counseling for community members living with HIV.

· Engaging in client care conferences with team members and coordinating implementation of interdisciplinary plans.

· Providing individual, couples, and family therapy sessions and therapeutic group sessions with community members both in-person and via tele-therapy.

· Participating in other professional activities, to include community planning, developing or coordinating special projects, providing consultation, maintaining clinical files, assisting with CP events, and generating monthly program reports, when requested.
