Associate Product Manager - Paid Search
Summary
Associate Product Manager who owns and improves StubHub/viagogo's paid search acquisition channel: managing a large Google Ads portfolio, running and measuring experiments, coordinating cross-functional delivery, and improving measurement and workflows. Hybrid role (3 days in office) based in New York, with Microsoft Advertising as a plus.
StubHub is on a mission to redefine the live event experience on a global scale. Whether someone is looking to attend their first event or their hundredth, we’re here to delight them all the way from the moment they start looking for a ticket until they step through the gate. The same goes for our sellers. From fans selling a single ticket to the promoters of a worldwide stadium tour, we want StubHub to be the safest, most convenient way to offer a ticket to the millions of fans who browse our platform around the world.
To enable millions of users to explore, interact with, and participate in live events worldwide, StubHub is seeking an Associate Product Manager, Paid Search / Acquisition to help drive one of our core acquisition channels across StubHub and viagogo. You will own the operating system that keeps our Paid Search product surface moving, building a clear experiment and delivery roadmap, driving strong cross-functional coordination, establishing reliable measurement, and creating durable knowledge that teams can use to make better decisions.
This role combines product thinking with practical delivery. You’ll work across commercial goals, technical constraints, advertising platform behavior, and imperfect data to bring structure to a complex portfolio and help the team move with urgency without sacrificing measurement quality or context.
Location: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote) – New York, NY
About the Team:
The Acquisition team helps fans discover live events across StubHub and viagogo. We work across Google and Microsoft Advertising to improve campaign performance, measurement, and the tools that support paid search at scale.
What You’ll Do:
- Use your Google Ads experience to identify improvements to campaign structure, bidding, target ROAS, keyword coverage, ad copy, and sitelinks.
- Identify campaign improvement opportunities through analysis, testing, and deep knowledge of Google Ads.
- Analyze campaign performance, investigate problems, and recommend actions based on expected business impact.
- Work with Engineering, Data Science, Analytical Engineering, and Operations to turn opportunities into clear requirements and delivery plans.
- Manage daily coordination: agree on owners and timelines, track dependencies, resolve blockers, and follow up on decisions.
- Maintain the experiment plan, including hypotheses, success measures, launch checks, and results. Recommend what to expand, change, or stop.
- Help improve measurement, dashboards, alerts, and campaign workflows.
- Document decisions and findings so the team can use them in future work.
What You’ve Done:
- Required: Extensive experience directly managing and improving Google Ads campaigns across a large, complex portfolio, with multiple markets, high campaign volume, and automated bidding. You must have deep practical knowledge of campaign structure, bidding and target ROAS, keywords, ads, and performance measurement.
- Experience with portfolios representing $100M+ in annual Google Ads spend is preferred.
- Required: Evidence of Google Ads improvements you personally identified and delivered. You can explain what you changed, why, how you measured the result, and what you learned. General marketing, analytics, or platform familiarity alone does not meet this requirement.
- Experience working with technical and operations teams to deliver improvements. This can come from a paid-search, growth, or performance marketing role.
- Strong analytical judgment. You can assess test results, explain measurement limits, and connect campaign performance to revenue and profit.
- Clear communication and reliable follow-through. You can organize work, make priorities clear, and keep several teams aligned.
- An interest in developing product management skills, including problem definition, prioritization, and delivery planning. You must also be willing to own the daily coordination and documentation.
- Previous Product Management experience is preferred but not required.
- Microsoft Advertising experience is preferred but not required.
What We Offer:
- Accelerated Growth Environment: An environment designed for swift skill and knowledge enhancement, where you have the autonomy to lead experiments and tests on a massive scale.
- Top Tier Compensation Package: Competitive base, equity, and upside that tracks with your impact.
- Flexible Time Off: Enjoy unlimited Flex Time Off, giving you the flexibility to manage your schedule and take time to recharge as needed.
- Comprehensive Benefits Package: Prioritize your well-being with a comprehensive benefits package, featuring 401k, and premium Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance options.
