Associate Product Manager

Role Overview

As an Associate Product Manager (APM) at Tequity, you will work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Business teams to support planning, execution, and delivery of product features. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building meaningful products, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow into a full-fledged Product Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in defining product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  

• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of features.
  

• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and user interviews to identify opportunities.
  

• Analyze product metrics, derive insights, and recommend improvements.
  

• Create and maintain product documentation, roadmaps, and feature backlogs.
  

• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and cross-functional meetings.
  

• Work with UI/UX teams to refine user flows and improve product usability.
  

• Support launch activities, including user onboarding, internal training, and feedback collection.
  

• Maintain strong alignment with stakeholders across business, engineering, and delivery teams.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related fields.
  

• 2-5years of experience in Product, Business Analysis, Project Management, or a tech-oriented role.
  

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  

• Ability to translate business problems into structured product requirements.
  

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and user behavior.
  

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience in SaaS, HRTech, TalentTech, or product engineering environments.
  

• Exposure to product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA, etc.).
  

• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and prototyping tools (Figma, Miro).
  

• Prior experience working with technical teams or in a startup environment.
