Responsibilities

The Associate Product Manager supports the Product Manager in the development and execution of the Animatronics product category from concept through production and final delivery. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Product Technology, Buying, Licensing, Quality Assurance, Creative, Packaging, and vendor partners, this role helps bring innovative, high-quality products to market.

  • Support the Product Manager in the development and execution of Animatronics products from concept through production, helping ensure projects remain on schedule and aligned with key milestones
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Design, Product Technology, Buying, Licensing, Quality Assurance, Creative, Packaging, and vendors, to support product development and execution
  • Coordinate product meetings, prepare samples and supporting materials, document feedback, track action items, and communicate next steps
  • Collaborate with Design and Product Technology teams to support the development of product features, functionality, aesthetics, and overall product performance
  • Review prototypes, samples, and product revisions with the Product Manager and cross-functional teams to help ensure products meet quality, functionality, safety, and brand standards
  • Support vendor and factory communication by tracking development progress, following up on open items, and helping resolve development and production challenges.
  • Assist with product costing, quote reviews, and cost management to support margin objectives while maintaining product quality and design intent
  • Support product testing, quality initiatives, and licensed product approvals in partnership with internal teams, vendors, and licensors
  • Coordinate packaging development and other product deliverables to ensure accuracy and timely completion
  • Maintain product information, approvals, costs, milestones, samples, and documentation within company systems
  • Conduct competitive research and monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for product innovation and growth
  • Provide day-to-day support to the Product Manager while progressively taking ownership of assigned projects and responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of retail experience in a corporate setting
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Strong sense of urgency, drive and passion to take ownership of all projects with strong written and verbal communication, analytical and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and must be detailed oriented, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under tight deadlines
  • General knowledge of retail math

The pay range reflects the potential base salary range for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Pay Range

$70,000 - $80,000
