The Role
What You'll Do
- Be hands-on. Design, prototype, define, configure Vault-to-Vault connections and validate solutions rapidly to ensure we solve the right problems, in the right order
- Be agile. Design, implement, iterate
- Be a storyteller. Author & design high-quality specifications and communicate specific, actionable requirements to your engineering teammates
- Be an owner. Create and manage the roadmap for your product area, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. Keep up with the latest Medical Affairs software and Life Sciences industry trends, and distill them into product requirements
- Be a team player. Work with Engineering, QA, and Product Management to build solutions that harmonize across Veeva applications
- Take pride in your work with a passion for excellence
Requirements
- 2+ years of progressive experience in product management
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated expertise in design, product development, and strategic planning
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with ambiguity
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline
- Must be based in a region in the Eastern Standard Time zone
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the USA or Canada
Nice to Have
- Experience with data modeling (ERDs) and Lucidchart
- Experience writing detailed user stories and managing a story backlog
- Ability to understand and communicate architectural requirements, preferences, and limitations
- Track record of effectively collaborating with engineering/QA to define, design, and deliver the product

Compensation
- Base pay: $60,000 - $120,000
- The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
