About the Position

An exciting opportunity exists for an accomplished and collaborative academic leader to shape and advance interprofessional education (IPE) across the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine at Bond University. This role will suit an individual with a strong commitment to innovating, student-centred curriculum design, cross-disciplinary collaboration and scholarly leadership in health professions education. The Interprofessional Education Lead plays a pivotal role in driving a connected, future-ready approach to education that reflects Bond’s distinctive focus on personalised learning, academic excellence, and graduate workforce readiness. Working closely with Heads of Discipline, academic and professional colleagues, students, industry and community partners, the role provides both strategic and operational leadership for interprofessional learning initiatives, across the Faculty and more broadly across the University and the community.

Your core responsibilities in this role will be to:

· Provide strategic academic leadership for the development, implementation and evaluation of the Faculty’s Interprofessional Education Plan, ensuring alignment with Faculty and University priorities.

· Design, integrate and deliver high-quality interprofessional learning experiences embedded across discipline-specific curricula.

· Facilitate and support interdisciplinary and crops-faculty learning opportunities that bring together students and staff from health and non-health disciplines.

· Build staff capability in interprofessional education through professional development, collaborative curriculum design and partnership activities.

· Develop and sustain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including industry and community partners, to enhance authentic, practice-informed learning.

· Lead evaluation and continuous quality improvement processes to ensure interprofessional learning activities are effective, impactful and meet accreditation requirements.

· Champion equity, diversity, inclusion and cultural safely safe practice within interprofessional education including the meaningful integration of First Nations perspectives.

As an Associate Professor B, you will also provide senior academic leadership within the Faculty, mentor and support academic colleagues across disciplines, and contribute to quality assurance, accreditation processes and major Faculty initiatives. This position is a unique opportunity to shape how future health professionals learn together at Bond University and to make a significant contribution to interprofessional education at Faculty and institutional levels.

About the Person

To be successful in this role, you will have:

· A doctoral qualification (PhD or equivalent) in a relevant health discipline, health professions education or a related field, with Ahpra registration or eligibility for registration, or membership of an appropriate professional association.

· Demonstrated strategic academic leadership in interprofessional education, with a record of advancing interprofessional learning within the health disciplines.

· Proven ability to lead and influence change within complex academic environments, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture across disciplines.

· Demonstrated excellence in educational innovation, including leadership, design and implementation of interprofessional curricula, learning experiences or cross-faculty initiatives.

· Strong capability in applying scholarship to enhance educational quality, curriculum design and student outcomes, including evaluation and continuous improvement processes.

· Demonstrated excellence in teaching and facilitation, including leading interprofessional, interdisciplinary or cross-sector learning experiences for students and or staff.

· A strong commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and culturally safe practice, and the ability to embed these principles within interprofessional education including the integration of First Nations perspectives within interprofessional education

· Highly developed communication, partnership and stakeholder engagement skills to support effective collaboration across the university and with external partners.
