Associate Project Manager
Overview
The Associate Project Manager will provide project management support to assigned projects within the organization. The APM initiates, plans, develops, executes, and manages project timelines, conducts problem assessments, ensures efficient project implementation, and reports on project performance in conjunction with project sponsors. Expertise in the use of project management tools, facilitation, group processes and critical thinking is essential. The APM works to ensure maximum effectiveness of resources, quality, change, integration, cost, and scope management using effective communications techniques.
As a member of the Design and Construction team, the APM works across the organization through workgroups and cross-functional teams. The APM identifies opportunities for efficiency, effectiveness and process innovation while analyzing relevant project data and implementing process improvements.
Responsibilities

- Experience developing data tracking tools and analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data results.
- Ability to work confidently with senior leaders in a consulting capacity to support strategy development and deployment planning.

Qualifications
Education Requirements
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Technology, Business Administration, Education, Project Management, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required or must be obtained within eighteen (18) months of hire.
Preferred
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Project Management, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
Professional Experience
Required
- Two to four (2-4) years of project management, facilities management, construction management, or related experience.
- Demonstrated success leading teams and implementing organizational change initiatives.
- Experience applying project management tools, techniques, and methodologies to achieve project objectives.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating across multiple departments and disciplines.
- Strong experience coordinating multiple priorities, stakeholders, and project deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience leading complex, concurrent projects involving diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience within a healthcare setting.
- Experience supporting strategic initiatives, operational improvement projects, or organizational transformation efforts.
