Associate Project Manager

We are looking for an Associate Project Manager preferably with previous experience of managing software development projects, ensuring on-time delivery to client(s) and has a thorough understanding of all stages of the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Communicate proactively and effectively with the members of cross-functional teams.
2. Communicate effectively with clients to understand and clarify scope of requirements.
3. Define and evaluate requirements to ensure technical feasibility.
4. Prepare necessary documentation relevant to all stages of SDLC to maintain and preserve organizational knowledge.
5. Create project plans (task breakdown, timeline, potential risks, etc.) and technical proposal.
6. Use project management tools like JIRA to monitor, identify and manage any risk with the potential to cause delay or failure.
7. Review or test completed tasks to ensure flawless progression and delivery.
8. Report to Technical PMO Manager with current status of all assigned projects and potential risks or issues.

1. Strong understanding of concepts of system design and architecture.
2. Strong understanding of core software development languages, frameworks and best practices.
3. Candidates with experience in software project management or software development or educational background (degree in Computer Science) will be preferred.
4. Experience with use of project management tools like JIRA, etc. will be given preference.
5. Experience in technical and software requirement documentation will be given preference.

Soft skills
The Associate Project Manager will be expected to have the following attributes:

1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
2. Fluency in English is a huge plus
3. Strong ability to organize, structure and prioritize work
4. ​​​​​​​Prior experience of communicating and reporting to client will be given preference
