Associate Python Developer

Summary

Associate Python Developer role with 1–3 years experience, focusing on Python development, building RESTful APIs and backend services using frameworks like FastAPI/Flask/Django, and working with SQL databases in an Agile environment.

We are looking for an Associate Python Developer with 1–3 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python development, experience building APIs and backend services, and a passion for developing scalable and maintainable software solutions.

You will work closely with senior developers, QA engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment to design, develop, test, and maintain applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Python.

  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.

  • Write clean, reusable, efficient, and well-documented code.

  • Work with databases and develop efficient queries and data-access layers.

  • Integrate applications with third-party APIs and external systems.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.

  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

  • Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.

  • Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and application deployment processes.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years of professional experience in Python development.

  • Strong knowledge of Python programming and OOP concepts.

  • Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

  • Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and API integration.

  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

  • Familiarity with Git and version control practices.

  • Understanding of software development and testing practices.

  • Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

  • Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
