Associate Research Director

The business is continuing to grow and is investing in senior talent to support both client delivery and commercial development.

The Role

You will:

• Lead strategic client relationships and act as a senior point of contact
• Manage and grow existing accounts by identifying new opportunities
• Prepare proposals and responses to research briefs and RFPs
• Oversee the delivery of quantitative and qualitative research projects
• Review analysis, reports, and presentations before client delivery
• Ensure projects are delivered to agreed quality, budget, and timeline requirements
• Support project teams by managing risks and resolving delivery challenges
• Coach and develop Research Managers and consultants
• Work with internal teams to improve processes and the use of technology and AI tools

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong experience leading research, insight, or analytics projects
• Quantitative research expertise with experience overseeing full project lifecycles
• Ability to translate data into clear recommendations for stakeholders
• Experience managing client relationships and growing accounts
• Track record of developing proposals and responding to complex briefs or RFPs
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• Experience managing and developing researchers or consultants
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of project profitability
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Interest in improving ways of working through technology and AI
