Job Description

Applications are invited for the position of Associate Scientist to participate in experimental and/or CFD studies in Combustion & Propulsion research.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong background in Aerospace Propulsion and Gas Dynamics.

Experimental Research: Comprehensive knowledge of experimental techniques in combustion and gas dynamics, including measurements of flow velocity, pressure, temperature, and combustion diagnostics. Proven skills in experiment design, data acquisition, and data analysis required.

Numerical Research: Strong expertise in Combustion Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and extensive experience in code development. Prior experience with OpenFOAM and familiarity with commercial CFD software required.

Ability to work independently and good communication skills are essential.
