Associate Security Engineer
Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced associate security engineer who will work closely with the client's managed security controls unit. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in network security, identity management, and endpoint protection technologies. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to real-world projects that protect enterprise environments.
Job requirements
Responsibilities
- Assist in responding to technical support inquiries related to network security products (firewalls, email security, DLP solutions, Broadcom IGA, Symantec EDR, etc.).
- Help analyze and troubleshoot basic technical issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Document support cases, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with team members to escalate complex issues and learn from their expertise.
- Participate in knowledge base creation and maintenance for common issues and solutions.
- Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and product updates to enhance your technical knowledge.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of network architecture, computer systems, and security protocols.
- Strong interest in cybersecurity and eagerness to learn about identity management and endpoint protection.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Exposure to or interest in technologies such as:
- Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco)
- Microsoft PKI (Public Key Infrastructure)
- Email security (Proofpoint)
- DLP solutions (Proofpoint and Forcepoint)
- nCipher HSM (Hardware Security Module)
- Tripwire Enterprise
- Broadcom Symantec SEP, EDR, CAS
- Broadcom IGA (CA Identity Manager Suite)
