In this role, you'll:


This role supports the design, development, testing, and maintenance of customer-facing applications and core platform services within Transport for NSW. Working within an agile environment, the Associate Software Developer collaborates with senior developers, architects, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable digital solutions.

The position contributes to integrating systems, resolving technical issues, and continuously improving development practices while adhering to established coding standards and governance frameworks. It plays a key role in enabling digital capabilities that enhance transport services and customer experiences across NSW.

About you


The ideal candidate is an early-career software developer with a strong foundation in programming, a keen interest in building high-quality applications, and a commitment to continuous learning.

They are comfortable working in agile teams, contributing to testing and debugging, and collaborating with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.

A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex systems are essential for success in this role. The candidate is motivated to develop their skills while contributing to impactful, large-scale infrastructure and digital initiatives.
