Associate Software Development Engineer
Job requirements
Experience Range: Entry-level role with up to 2 years of experience in Java backend development, including exposure to microservices architecture Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, unit testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot, focusing on scalability and performance
- Assist in analyzing user requirements and translating them into technical solutions
- Write efficient, testable code following best practices and organizational standards
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of production and environmental issues in collaboration with QA and support teams
- Help prepare and produce releases of software components to ensure reliable deployments
- Conduct programming, testing, and debugging to optimize system functionality
- Engage in agile development processes, contributing to grooming user stories and sprint planning
Required Skills:
- Java programming
- Spring Boot framework
- Basic understanding of microservices architecture
- SQL databases (such as MySQL or Oracle)
- Version control systems (Bitbucket or GitLab)
- Build tools (Maven)
- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
- Development of RESTful APIs
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker)
- Familiarity with orchestration tools (Kubernetes)
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka)
- Understanding of ORM frameworks (Hibernate)
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks for Java applications

- Awareness of distributed systems and event-driven architectures
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
