About the Department:

  • Data Engineering function focused on enabling enterprise-wide data platforms, analytics capabilities, and AI-driven insights.

Key focus areas include:

  • Data Products & Self-Service Analytics: Empowering business users with accessible, governed, and actionable data products.

  • Cloud Lakehouse & Scalable Data Pipelines: Building modern, cloud-native data architectures and reliable pipelines to support enterprise-scale data processing.

  • AI/ML & Advanced Analytics Enablement: Providing the data foundations, tools, and frameworks required to accelerate AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics initiatives.

How You Will Add Value?

Core Responsibilities:

Architect Cloud Pipelines:

  • You will build production-grade ELT/ETL data pipelines.

  • You will develop batch and streaming ingestion solutions.

  • You will implement Apache Iceberg and Delta Lake storage formats.

  • You will optimize large-scale data transformations.

Ensure Governance & Quality:

  • You will implement data quality controls.

  • You will support data lineage and governance initiatives.

  • You will manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • You will deliver trusted and governed data products.

  • You will enable self-service analytics capabilities.

  • You will support semantic models and curated data layers.

  • You will create feature-ready datasets for AI/ML initiatives.

  • You will ensure scalable and reproducible data pipelines.

  • You will promote modern Lakehouse architecture adoption.

  • You will support regulatory and compliance requirements.

Team & Collaboration:

  • You will partner with business stakeholders and analytics teams.

  • You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers.

  • You will translate business needs into scalable solutions.

  • You will improve time-to-insight and business outcomes.

AI Fluency & Modern Engineering Productivity:

  • You will use AI agents to accelerate software development.

  • You will leverage AI for coding, testing, and migrations.

  • You will create and refine prompts for complex workflows.

  • You will optimize SQL performance using AI tools.

  • You will generate technical documentation with AI assistance.

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role?

Experience, Education & Certifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering.

  • Experience building enterprise-scale data platforms.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced SQL expertise.

  • Strong Python and Apache Spark (PySpark) skills.

  • Experience with Snowflake and Lakehouse platforms.

  • Knowledge of Apache Iceberg and Delta Lake.

  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.

  • Understanding of data governance and quality frameworks.

  • Experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Effective collaboration across technical and business teams.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Ability to deliver scalable business-focused solutions.

  • Knowledge of investment management data domains is advantageous.

Work Shift Timings - 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST
