Associate Support Engineer

At the heart of our fast-paced client support team, you’ll work closely with talented software developers, take ownership of first-level bug fixing, and help us keep our clients happy and thriving!
What you will do:
- Be the first point of contact for clients, understand their issues and find effective solutions
- Triage, troubleshoot, and squash bugs with smart code changes
- Provide ongoing ops & maintenance support
- Log, track, and analyze client queries to spot trends
- Update documentation and self-help guides for clients and internal teams
- Weekend or after hours support may be required from time to time, with time off in lieu provided accordingly
Job Requirements
- Degree in IT or equivalent
- Fresh grads welcome! 2–3 years in application support/development in financial services is a plus
- Programming know-how in Java, JSP, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and Unix shell scripting
- Bonus if you know jQuery, Oracle RDBMS, JBoss, Resin, or IBM WebSphere
- Strong problem-solving skills and great communication
- Open to providing weekend after-hours support when required, with time off in lieu provided accordingly
