Associate Systems Analyst

Salary: $90 – $120 per hour

Harrison McMillan is seeking an experienced APS5 Associate Systems Analyst to support the analysis, design, testing and implementation of ICT solutions within a Federal Government environment.

This is a long-term up to 12-month contract with extension options up to a maximum of 24 months and is based in Canberra, Melbourne or Brisbane. Hybrid working arrangements are available following an initial onsite period.

Due to the nature of this role, a Baseline security clearance is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and evaluate business processes and requirements.

• Support the design and implementation of ICT solutions.

• Develop and maintain solution documentation and specifications.

• Conduct testing activities, including test planning and execution.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and support project delivery.

• Support system changes, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Prepare reports and technical documentation for senior review.

Essential Criteria:

• Requirements Definition and Management, SFIA Level 3.

• Software Design, SFIA Level 3.

• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.

Desirable Criteria:

• Feasibility Assessment, SFIA Level 3.

• User Experience Evaluation, SFIA Level 2.

• Experience within government or large-scale organisations.

• Exposure to SAP CRM and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
