Associate, Technical Business Analyst, Institutional Banking Group Technology, Group Technology
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners and operations teams to understand, analyze and document business requirements for the Payments Domain.
- Facilitate requirement gathering workshops, discussions and walkthrough sessions to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and documented.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, business rules, acceptance criteria and implementation-ready documentation.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to explain requirements, clarify functional scenarios, and support solution design discussions.
- Maintain accurate and complete project documentation to ensure requirements, assumptions, decisions and scope are clearly recorded and traceable, minimizing ambiguity during development and testing.
- Support Agile delivery activities including backlog grooming, sprint planning, user story refinement, requirement reviews and sprint demonstrations.
- Work with Payments, Accounts, Entitlements, Approvals and Notification teams to understand process dependencies and ensure requirements remain aligned across domains.
- Assist in documenting payment workflows, approval flows, entitlement rules, notification requirements and transaction lifecycle processes.
- Support test planning, test case preparation and UAT activities by ensuring business scenarios and acceptance criteria are well defined.
- Work with QA and Test Automation teams to help develop functional, integration and automation test scenarios based on documented requirements.
- Validate delivered functionality against business requirements and support defect triage, root cause discussions and issue resolution activities.
- Ensure all requirements, changes and enhancements are properly version-controlled and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in release planning, production deployment preparation and post-release validation activities.
- Leverage AI-enabled productivity tools to improve requirement documentation, analysis and quality assurance processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
- 2-4 years of Business Analysis experience in Banking, Financial Services or Technology projects.
- Basic understanding of Corporate Internet Banking, Digital Banking, Payments or Financial Services platforms.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, process flows and functional specifications.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business users, developers, testers and project stakeholders.

- Understanding of payment processing concepts including:
- Payment Initiation

- User Entitlements and Access Control
- Exposure to API-based systems, digital channels and modern banking platforms is an advantage.
- Experience supporting QA and Test Automation teams by defining test scenarios and validating business outcomes.
- Familiarity with:

- Experience using AI productivity tools such as:
