(Associate) Technical QA Lead

If you know our Compliance QA inside out and you're ready to take real ownership of projects and people, this is your next step. As a Lead running Compliance QA service, you'll own the delivery across multiple projects, making sure teams are supported, testing lands on target, and clients get the standard Testronic is known for. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own assigned projects end-to-end — set them up before QA starts, drive delivery, and see risks off before they bite.
- Define test strategies, coverage checklists, and documentation for Compliance work across console, PC, mobile, and VR.
- Track quality metrics, KPIs, and bug database trends; support root cause analysis to keep improving how we test.
- Maintain strict delivery timelines with proper coverage of first party standards, risks and certification guidance for our partners.
- Triage and validate issues entered by the team to ensure critical certification risks are entered properly, invalid/console system related issue are not entered and potential cert risks flagged accordingly to avoid confusion or misjudgement on partner side.
- Be a key point of contact with clients — status, quality, reviews, and spotting where we can do more.
- Constant learning and team development based on the devnet information, requirement changes and partner submission outcomes.
- Lead, coach, and grow your QA team through 1:1s, feedback, and development conversations.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Compliance QA — First party requirements, platform certification, and submission workflows across console, PC, mobile, and VR.
- A strong grasp of software and defect lifecycles, release management, and risk-based testing.
- Compatibility QA knowledge will an extra benefit, however, candidate has to be prepared to learn and support those services as needed.
- Skill in building test strategies and coverage documentation, and in defining, tracking, and reporting QA metrics and KPIs.
- Sharp analytical, root-cause, and problem-solving instincts, plus solid project planning and prioritisation.
- Proven people leadership — coaching, mentoring, and developing QA teams.
- Fluent written and spoken English, confident client communication, and comfort with defect tracking, test management, and MS Office tools.
