Typical Job Responsibilities
- Test Execution Support.
- Assist in running functional and process test cases under guidance from Testers or Senior Testers.
- Record test results and document any observed defects or anomalies clearly.
- Retest resolved defects to verify fixes as directed.
- Quality Assurance Contribution
- Apply organisational QA standards, checklists, and procedures when executing tests.
- Maintain and update test documentation, including test scripts and results.
- Contribute to basic quality reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work under supervision within a testing team, learning from Senior Testers and Test Leads.
- Communicate test progress, issues, and observations clearly to assigned mentors or leads.
- Support User Acceptance Testing by assisting business users and validating test outcomes.
- Process Testing
- Execute simple process and workflow-based test cases to support operational readiness.
- Verify that basic transaction flows and business processes function correctly in fintech applications.
- Attention to Detail: Carefully follows instructions and documents test results accurately.
- Accountability: Completes assigned tasks reliably and flags issues promptly.
- Collaboration: Works effectively within the team and seeks guidance when needed.
- Learning Orientation: Actively develops testing knowledge, tools, and domain expertise.
- Integrity: Maintains confidentiality and security of financial and customer data.
- Adaptability: Responds positively to feedback, supervision, and new tasks in a dynamic environment.
