Associate Trainer – Dementia Singapore Academy
Summary
Conducts professional dementia care training sessions for healthcare and social service sectors, delivering classroom, virtual, or blended learning based on approved curricula.
Dementia Singapore Academy(DSA) is looking for experienced trainers and practitioners to support the delivery of professional dementia care courses for healthcare, community care and social service sectors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct DSA courses in assigned areas of expertise.
- Facilitate classroom, virtual and/or blended learning sessions.
- Deliver training in accordance with approved curriculum, learning outcomes and assessment requirements.
- Share practical industry experience and best practices to enhance learner engagement.
- Maintain professional standards and training quality requirements.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Possess ACTA or ACLP certification.
- Have relevant experience in dementia care, aged care, healthcare, community care and/or social service settings.
- Demonstrate prior adult learning facilitation or training experience.
- Possess strong presentation, communication and facilitation skills.
- Able to engage adult learners from diverse professional backgrounds.
- Have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Dementia care
- Caregiver support
- Community care
- Allied health
- Nursing
- Occupational therapy
- Social work
- Psychology
- Gerontology
- Palliative care
