Associate/VP Back-End Software Engineer

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable backend systems supporting custodial and execution accounts. You will shape technical designs, deliver new features with cross-functional partners, automate workflows, and improve performance and reliability. You will own production services end to end, including deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable back-end systems
• Shape high-level system designs and technical approaches for medium-to-large initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship features
• Optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Perform impact analysis and detailed design, and translate designs into engineering tasks
• Automate business workflows
• Implement core components and pair with engineers when needed
• Own production services end to end, including deployment and monitoring
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on back-end development
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or other back-end languages
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and ORM frameworks
• Ability to balance design work with hands-on delivery
• Interest in cryptocurrency
• Fluency in English
