Asst. Product Design Manager (IT Fashion & Gadget Accessories)

Job Description

• Provide guidance to Product Development team in terms of improving products and/or illustrations design processes (Apple Product Accessories & Lifestyle Products) that matches Sheep’s Key visual and mission or each collection

• Assist on guidance to Graphic Design team in terms of process improvement and overall tone to match Sheep's CI and Key visual for each collection while ensuring that all tasks serve the goal purposes (Sales / MKT / VM / Event / etc.)

• Guide Visual Merchandise team in terms aligning sales objectives with designs while supporting process improvement to ensure key timelines are met.

• Proficiently manage multiple project timelines with multiple teams & SLAs to meet deadlines and project objectives

• Help in development all team members in terms of both hard skills ( Design / Graphic / VM ) and soft skills (Communication / Team work).

• Understand Sales & Marketing Psychology in order to maximize product designs for both short term trends and long term goals.

• Must understand a variety of product materials and dimensions to optimize illustration and designs

• Brainstorm briefs in order to get the best concept and guidelines for each product collections with both internal teams and external teams

• Work along current brand identity guidelines while also evolving the brand to new levels

• Conceptualize new ideas and integrate them into new product designs or illustrations

• Design with a creative mindset that is optimized for business growth

• Able to take on feedback from customers & internal teams for product optimization

Job Specification

• Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Comm. Arts or related fields

• 5-8 years of experience in Product Design and/or Graphic Design in IT and/or Fashion industry

• Extremely strong communication skills with passion for Product & Human Development

• Acute business acumen with ability to blend designs objectives with business goals

• Strong leadership skills with a willing mindset to accept responsibility and accountability

• Thrive in a fast paced and dynamic working culture

• Highly proficient in Design working tools (Adobe Creative Suite)

• Ability to communicate in English is needed (TOEIC 650 or above)

• Highly empathetic towards others

• Able to take on feedback and revise designs

• Must be able to manage projects and follow up on progress

• High attention to detail and great problem solving skills
