Requirements

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics (BS/BA/MSA/MST/Certificate Program) and graduating between 07/2027 – 12/2029
  • Demonstrated interest in pursuing or obtaining CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Educational Licensure Requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to start in January and work in one of our California offices (San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Rosa, Long Beach, and Sacramento).

Responsibilities

  • You will receive comprehensive Assurance training from our Learning & Development team and key Assurance leaders who will teach you how to analyze financial statements and related disclosures to identify any material misstatements or discrepancies.
  • You will learn and perform audit procedures to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial statements. This involves examining financial records, transactions, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with accounting principles and relevant regulations.
  • You will assist in evaluating and testing the effectiveness of internal control systems implemented by clients, working hand in hand with team members to deliver a quality product within the client’s time-frame.
  • You will engage in regional intern events, executive speaker sessions with firm partners, and collaborate with fellow interns on a project to showcase acquired knowledge and skills.
