Position Summary
The Husky Athletic Fund at the UConn Foundation seeks an Athletics Development Student Worker – General Operations for August 2026 through May 2027. The Student Worker will have primary responsibility for daily office functions and duties, as well as events and game day responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities
Coordinates and assists with basics office functions and assist in fundraising activities for Athletics Development Office.
- Assist with ancillary event staffing and game day hospitality including set up, greeting, and breakdown. Includes fall and winter sports both on campus and off campus, as well as regional events local to Connecticut.
- Assist with event research including venues, vendors, and additional needs as they arise
- Manage distribution of athletics donation acknowledgement letters, including printing, mailing, and reporting
- Assist with potential donor prospecting through data collection of new donors and event attendees
- Manage donor holiday gift distribution from start to finish, inclusive of research of ideas, ordering, packaging and shipping
- General office support including ordering and gathering event supplies, shipping, and other projects that arise
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal staff and to donors.
- Assist Athletics Development staff with any project needs to be determined by staff
- Other duties as assigned
