Job Description:
AMS Staffing, Inc. has partnered with a boutique firm in the Houston area in search of a Litigation Attorney. The ideal candidate will have at 5-7 of experience managing matters as a Litigation Attorney ideally in a defense setting. This position will be primarily exposed to a litigation docket of professional liability, commercial litigation, and corporate litigation. The ideal candidate will have experience managing matters from file to trial.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Taking and defending depositions;
- Managing matters from file to trial;
- Drafting motions;
- Attending mediation;
- Legal research;
- Client advisement;
- Attending and preparing for trial.
Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience as a Litigation Attorney.
- JD from an ABA accredited law school.
