Attorney-Adviser (General)

About the position: Serves as an Attorney-Adviser (General) in the DHA Office of General Counsel. This position is located in Camp Pendleton, California. This position is in the Excepted Service and does not confer competitive status.

Provide legal review and guidance on health care policies, forms, adverse actions, and medical-legal training.

Provide legal advice on credentialing and privileging of health care providers.

Advise on privacy and information protection requirements.

Review and advise on formal legal agreements.

Oversee all phases of medical negligence and tort litigation for the Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF).

Advise on legal issues related to medical device recalls and failures.
