About the Position: This position is located at OFFICE OF THE ARMY GENERAL COUNSEL, PENTAGON, ARLINGTON, VA If you are currently serving in a permanent, competitive service appointment in the Federal service, and are selected for this position, the appointment will remove you from the competitive service while you occupy this position.
Provides legal advice and assistance to the Army Review Boards Agency, the Director, Equal Opportunity and Civil Rights (EEOC), etc.
Advises whether to adopt, modify, or appeal complaint decision rendered by Administrative Judges of the EEOC.
Provides legal advice and assistance to the Director with respect to complaint processing including interpretation and revision of the Department of the Army regulation and development and application of alternative dispute resolution procedures.
Provides legal advice and assistance to the Army Review Boards Agency, M/RA, CHRA Civilian Personnel Division, and other HQ Dept of Army officials regarding the interpretation and application of personnel laws and regulations.
Reviews proposed Army personnel regulations and policies for legal sufficiency and impact on other regulations, and on programs, procedures and methods of operation.
