Attorney- Insurance Defense (Latent Asbestos)

Degan, Blanchard & Nash is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Attorney to join our Insurance Defense Practice Group with a focus on Toxic Tort and Asbestos litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest or background in toxic tort, environmental exposure, or asbestos-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload involving toxic tort and asbestos claims within the insurance defense framework
• Conducting thorough legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and depositions.
• Analyze complex medical and technical records
• Providing strategic legal advice and counsel to clients.
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting insurance defense.
