A licensed Attorney in Sandton handles civil, commercial, and family law cases, drafts legal documents, and represents clients in court while advising on disputes and compliance.

We are looking for a personable and commercially minded Attorney to manage a broad litigation and advisory practice. If you thrive in a client-facing environment, have a genuine interest in people, and want to work in an empowering team — this role is for you.

Minimum Requirements

  • Admitted Attorney of the High Court
  • LLB or equivalent legal qualification
  • 2–7 years' post-admission experience in civil and commercial litigation
  • Experience in both Magistrates' Court and High Court
  • Strong drafting, research, and litigation skills
  • Ability to manage a full caseload independently
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills

Key Duties

  • Manage civil, commercial, and family law matters from inception to finalisation
  • Appear in Magistrates' Court and High Court for motion and trial proceedings
  • Draft pleadings, affidavits, contracts, notices, and legal opinions
  • Advise clients on disputes, contractual risk, and resolution strategies
  • Engage in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution
  • Implement and monitor legal compliance policies
  • Mentor junior attorneys and legal support staff

  • Commercial and contractual disputes
  • Property, lease, and consumer matters
  • Family law and labour-related litigation

Advantageous

  • Experience in arbitration, ADR, and commercial contracts
  • Exposure to property transactions and multi-disciplinary practice
  • Interest in psychology and human behaviour
