POSITION SUMMARY
The Attorney Network Coordinator II will work closely with the Attorney Network Manager to ensure Default Network (Bankruptcy/Foreclosure) firms are following Newrez’s vendor expectations and processes.
DESCRIPTION
Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between firms and business units (Bankruptcy/Foreclosure).
- Maintain the designated inbox and field questions from firms, general requests for information and escalations.
- Responsible for performance oversight of Default Network, review of monthly performance scorecards and issuing of Corrective Action in accordance with Performance Management Policy.
- Daily review and decision of Vendor Scorecard Tasks (rebuttals) from firms.
- Responsible for ANC worklist including working bill backs and firm transfers, as needed.
- Assist the Attorney Network Manager with the onboarding, expansion and termination of firms, as necessary.
- Work closely with Attorney Risk Management (aka Vendor Management) for yearly due diligence documentation for firms.
- Ensure that all the vendor Legal Services Agreements are executed biennially by the Attorney Firms and securely housed in accordance with SMS’s Records Retention policy.
- Coordinate training sessions conducted by the Firms for both Foreclosure and Bankruptcy.
- Assist the Attorney Network Manager in handling attorney/vendor level issues escalated to the department either internally or externally.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings with attorney/vendors and business units to identify and resolve gaps in process.
- Request or provide system access to YARDI – P260 and PAID (FHLMC) reimbursement system.
- GSE Compliance
- FreddieMac monthly ADR as needed follow up with firm on outstanding tasks.
- FannieMae monthly DRA as needed follow up with firm on outstanding tasks.
- FreddieMac RPA monthly exception review with firm.
- Performs related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Legal experience is a plus.
- Previous experience with default mortgage servicing is preferred.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
- Strong organizational and communication skills required.
- Advanced project management skills.
- Must be flexible to changing priorities, project scopes, and deadlines.
- Highly proficient in MS Office package, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Corporate event planning knowledge and experience.
- Knowledge of corporate AR processes.
