First American is seeking a highly connected, relationship-driven Attorney Sales Representative to expand our Commercial business across the San Francisco Bay Area.
The ideal candidate is a legal professional with an established network of attorneys and law firms who can build trusted relationships and turn those connections into business opportunities. Backed by First American’s national platform, industry expertise, technology, and resources, you’ll have the tools and support to build and grow a meaningful book of business.
What You’ll Do
- Build and deepen relationships with leading Bay Area law firms, commercial real estate attorneys, partners, and key decision-makers.
- Leverage your legal network and market knowledge to identify and develop new commercial business opportunities.
- Develop business strategies for priority attorneys and law firms.
- Understand client needs and connect them with First American’s commercial expertise and solutions.
- Build and manage a pipeline focused on long-term revenue growth.
- Represent First American at law firm meetings, client events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Partner with sales, underwriting, operations, marketing, and leadership to pursue opportunities and deliver an exceptional client experience.
What You’ll Bring
- Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California required.
- Significant legal industry experience and exposure to law firms and attorneys.
- Established relationships within the San Jose/Silicon Valley and greater Bay Area legal community, including partners, senior attorneys, and key decision-makers.
- Experience working within or closely with leading law firms and sophisticated legal professionals.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in business development, client development, relationship management, or sales.
- Ability to leverage an existing legal network to create introductions and business opportunities.
- Strong executive presence, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial real estate, real estate law, transactional law, title insurance, financial services, or related experience preferred.
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
