The Security Host is primarily responsible for alerting law enforcement or contract security staff of suspicious behavior and assisting patrons, ensuring all service meets Club standards.

Pay Rate: $14.00/hr

Essential Functions of the Job

• Coordinates with ANGC Security, law enforcement and Securitas to facilitate pedestrian flow in routine and emergency situations.
• Serves as a pre-screener in support of security screening.
• Monitors surroundings ensuring no prohibited items are on premises and advises patrons of entry restrictions.
• Assists patrons with directions and/or questions regarding the entry process.
• Notifies First Aid if patron needs medical assistance, remaining with patron until medical assistance arrives.
• Patrols the external area immediately outside the gates and other areas assigned by leadership.
• Arrives to position at the patron entry portals 15 minutes before the external gates are opened.
• Greets and directs all members, players, caddies and patrons in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains the confidentiality of all Club business.
• Demonstrates a commitment to upholding professional standards in the work environment.
• Performs other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job.
• Attends mandatory orientation and training sessions.
• Required to work schedule as defined by department to include holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.

Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge/Attributes

• Ability to communicate in a professional manner and make the patrons feel welcome.
• Some college or military experience is preferred.
• Displays interpersonal skills to work within a team environment.
• Ability to work in conditions that may include heat, cold, rain or other adverse conditions.
• Requires stooping, bending, lifting and transporting of objects up to 30 pounds.
• Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
• Displays integrity and sincerity interacting with others.
