Audio Visual Events Crew

Job Description

As an AV Events crew, you'll be involved in the world of live event production. You will be exposed to a wide range of events such as Conferences, Community Festive events, Fund-Raising events, Dinner and Dance, Weddings and Live Concerts.


General Responsibilities

. Setting up, Operating, and Dismantling of audio visual equipment such as Sound System, Stage Lightings and LED screens at various events

. Work as a Soundman / Lighting Technician or Video Operator for assigned events

. Attend all rehearsals or site recees as required

. Regular equipment maintenance

. Driving the lorry to event sites

. Eager to learn, has good interpersonal communication skills

Communicating

. Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills with team members and clients

. Ensure smooth co-ordination of tasks

. Ability to follow instructions or cues well and have patience

Knowledge and Requirements

. No academic qualifications needed

. Excellent organizational and communications skills

. Comfortable working at heights

. Good command of written and spoken English

. Basic command of spoken Chinese to liase with chinese clients

. The ability to communicate well, multi-tasked and work in a team is essential

. Commitment on occasional weekends and irregular working hours

. Ability to carry heavy equipment

Good to have:
. Class 3/4 license
