David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit an Audio-Visual Manager for their offices in Iasi, Romania.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, configure, and test new equipment and technical systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment used in production, broadcasting, and interactive media.
- Set up, monitor, and manage audio-visual and communication links between locations or units.
- Diagnose and repair technical issues in equipment and systems to ensure minimal downtime.
- Implement quick and effective contingency measures to maintain uninterrupted service during equipment failures.
- Operate and manage equipment and transmission systems for live or remote productions.
- Design and install custom circuits, hardware, and integrated audio-visual systems.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of technical infrastructure and workflows.
- Adhere to and promote best practices in workplace health and safety.
- Interpret and execute technical or creative instructions from project leads and stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends through continuous learning and professional networking.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluent in English, with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication
- In-depth understanding of imaging, photography, and video production principles (e.g., aperture, exposure, ISO, and lens operations).
- Hands-on experience in electronic engineering, broadcast systems, or communication technologies.
- Proficiency in camera operation, video switchers, and live production workflows.
- Familiarity with chroma keying, signal routing, and SDI infrastructure.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues creatively.
- Excellent IT literacy and project management abilities.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production environments.
- Ability to remain composed and perform well under pressure.
- Adequate color vision and hearing to meet technical role requirements.
