Audio Visual Specialist

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit an Audio Visual Specialist for their Gaming studios in São Paulo, Brazil.

Position: Audio Visual Specialist

Location: São Paulo, Brazil

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Installing, testing, and maintaining new facilities and equipment.

  • Proficient in crimping various connectors, including BNC, Micro BNC, RJ45, and XLR.

  • Strong knowledge of hardware and IT networking, including setting up and configuring network structures and ensuring proper communication between devices.

  • Familiarity with the functionality and purpose of scalers and matrix systems.

  • Setting up and maintaining equipment for virtual production environments.

  • Establishing and monitoring audio-visual links across different units.

  • Troubleshooting and repairing technical issues with equipment and systems.

  • Quickly identifying alternative service provisions to minimize service disruption during equipment failures.

  • Setting up and operating equipment and transmission links for live broadcasts.

  • Designing and installing custom audio-visual circuits and systems.

  • Designing and developing hardware and systems.

  • Promoting awareness of and adherence to workplace health and safety best practices.

  • Interpreting and implementing instructions from stakeholders, including product owners, creative directors, and colleagues.

  • Effectively communicating with team members and other colleagues.

  • Staying current with industry developments and technological advancements by networking and exploring new systems and techniques.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Advanced proficiency in English (at least B2), both written and spoken

  • Advanced understanding of key photography principles, such as exposure, camera settings, and lenses.

  • In-depth technical knowledge of camera equipment.

  • Experience in electronics and using communication systems.

  • Proficient in operating video cameras.

  • Advanced expertise with video production switchers.

  • Experience with live video effects such as chroma keying.

  • Strong understanding of video infrastructure.

  • Good color vision and hearing abilities.

  • Excellent IT and project management capabilities.

  • Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team.

  • Problem-solving skills and creativity in troubleshooting technical issues.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Strong time management abilities.

  • Adaptability and flexibility in various situations.

  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
