About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Audit Associate to join our finance/audit team in Onipanu, Lagos. You’ll support audit engagements by testing controls, verifying records, and helping ensure clients meet regulatory and financial reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in planning and conducting internal and external audits for clients
* Prepare working papers, audit reports, and supporting schedules
* Perform substantive testing, vouching, and analytical procedures on financial records
* Check adherence to IFRS, CAMA, FRC, and other relevant regulations
* Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements
* Liaise with client finance teams to gather evidence and clarify findings
* Draft audit findings and assist senior auditors with final report preparation
Requirements
* B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field. ACA/ACCA in progress is an advantage
* 2 years audit, accounting, or assurance experience. Fresh graduates with strong academics may apply
* Strong knowledge of audit procedures and accounting principles
* Proficiency in Excel. Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or other ERP is a plus
* Analytical thinking and strong attention to detail
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Must be resident in or willing to relocate to Onipanu/Lagos mainland area
