Audit Director – Banking & Insurance

Our client is seeking to appoint an Audit Director to join its expanding financial services audit team. This role will focus on leading a portfolio of banking and insurance audit engagements, including public interest entities, while supporting the continued growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of financial services audit clients

• Lead audit planning, strategy design and onboarding of new mandates

• Oversee audit teams to deliver high-quality, efficient engagements

• Advise clients on technical, reporting and regulatory matters

• Build and maintain strong client relationships

• Support business development and practice growth initiatives

• Manage, mentor and develop senior team members

Candidate Profile:

• Senior Manager or Director-level experience in financial services audit, or senior technical experience in banking/insurance

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial services accounting requirements

• Experience managing large or complex group audits

• Strong communication, leadership and project management skills

• Ability to deliver work to deadlines and maintain high quality standards
