Audit Manager

AVENTROSS PAC is looking for an experienced Audit Manager to lead and manage a portfolio of audit engagements.
The successful candidate should have strong external audit experience and be capable of managing multiple engagements, reviewing audit work, supervising audit teams and communicating directly with clients and Partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of audit engagements from planning through completion
- Lead, supervise and review the work of Audit Seniors and junior team members
- Review audit working papers and financial statements to ensure compliance with SSA and SFRS
- Identify significant audit, accounting and internal control issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Review audit planning, risk assessments, audit procedures and completion matters
- Monitor engagement progress, budgets and deadlines
- Manage multiple audit engagements concurrently and allocate work effectively among team members
- Liaise directly with clients on audit findings, accounting issues and engagement matters
- Resolve complex audit and financial reporting issues with the engagement team and clients
- Report significant audit matters and engagement status directly to the Partner
- Coach, develop and provide technical guidance to Audit Seniors and junior staff
- Assist with staff planning, performance management and development of the audit team
- Maintain strong client relationships and support the firm's service quality
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 5 years of relevant external audit experience in a public accounting/audit firm
- At least 1–2 years in an Audit Assistant Manager / Audit Manager or equivalent supervisory role preferred
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA) and SFRS
- Strong experience in reviewing audit working papers and financial statements
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple audit engagements
- Experience supervising, reviewing and coaching Audit Seniors and junior auditors
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good client management and communication skills
- Strong planning, organisational and time-management skills
- Able to work independently and manage engagement deadlines
- Singapore external audit experience is strongly preferred
