About the Role

Checkoff Finance is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Audit Manager to strengthen governance, compliance, internal controls, and risk management across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute risk-based audit plans across business functions.
• Lead internal audits, special investigations, and reviews of operational, financial, technology, and business processes.
• Design, implement, and monitor internal control frameworks.
• Conduct risk assessments and support enterprise risk management activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.
• Lead IT audit and technology risk reviews, including cybersecurity, data protection, access controls, and technology-related risks.
• Conduct fraud risk assessments and investigations.
• Prepare and present audit, risk, compliance, and governance reports to management, the Board, regulators, and external auditors.
• Review and improve governance, risk, compliance, and control policies.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and promote a culture of accountability and risk awareness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• ICAN qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 6–7 years' experience in internal audit, risk management, or compliance, preferably within financial services.
• Experience in Fintech, lending, banking, or financial services is an advantage.
• Experience in IT Audit, technology risk, cybersecurity reviews, or information systems audit is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, internal controls, risk management frameworks, and audit methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, report-writing, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
